About Yellowbook

Yellowbook Corporate Responsibility

By maintaining the highest standards of corporate responsibility in the workplace, the environment and the community, we deliver value to our users, advertisers, and employees.

Our mission is to connect consumers with businesses in their community. As a result, we have a deep connection to the people we serve and the communities they live in

We believe that getting involved and giving back is the right thing to do. We hope it makes a difference!

Here are just a few of our initiatives:

The Environment: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

Yellowbook recognizes the importance of publishing environmentally friendly products. We reduce, re-use and recycle whenever we can, wherever we can. To that end, we are:

  • Increasing the percent of waste product in our paper
  • Partnering with paper suppliers with sustainable forests
  • Printing directories with biodegradable inks and adhesives
  • Reducing our carbon "footprint" with a more friendly printing process
  • Controlling the size and weight of our directories
  • Reducing our electricity use

Join Us in Recycling

A key element in the success of our efforts depends on you. We invite you to recycle. Through our industry-exclusive partnership with Earth 911, we are pleased to offer you with a link to an extensive environmental resource with additional national, regional, and local recycling information.

Raise Money For Your Charity. Distribute Yellowbook Directories.

A great way for nonprofit groups to earn extra income. Yellowbook invites individuals, groups, schools, and organizations to deliver yellow pages directories to the doorsteps of residents and businesses in your community. There is no selling involved.

In exchange, we will offer a donation to your group. Call 1-800-373-3280 to get your organization involved.

Just Doing More Than Our Part

Yellowbook not only serves communities, we're part of them. We pitch in and help out local communities, organizations and chambers of commerce in a lot of ways.

  • We build homes for Habitat for Humanity
  • Organize drives for Toys for Tots and more
  • Sponsor local sports teams
  • Contribute to local fundraising
  • Coordinate food collection for the needy
  • Collect items for our armed forces in Iraq

United Way of America

In 2007, Yellowbook employees from across the country donated more $200,000 to United Way, a national network of more than 1,300 organizations that create lasting positive changes in people's lives.
