TRIAL OPENS MONDAY IN BROOKLYN
Verizon Directories Corp., an arm of the telecommunications giant, has brought a federal lawsuit against its largest competitor, Yellow Book USA, charging a series of funny and hyperbolic brand identity ads run by Yellow Book constitutes unfair advertising. A federal bench trial is slated to begin today, Monday, July 26, before Judge Jack B. Weinstein in U.S District Court in Brooklyn.
