UNIONDALE, NY - (February 2, 2005) - Yellow Book USA announced today that it has completed the purchase of the Milwaukee and Racine-Kenosha "One-Book" yellow pages directories from USXchange Directories L.L.C.
With the addition of the USXchange books, Yellow Book will now provide complete coverage of the Milwaukee area, distributing about one million yellow pages directories in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha counties.
"For years Yellow Book has published successful directories in the surrounding area, while waiting for the right vehicle in Milwaukee" said Joe Walsh, President and CEO of Yellow Book USA. "This represents a great opportunity to leverage Yellow Book's national brand, product expertise, and resources with the talent and local knowledge of the USXchange's employees. It's a combination that will provide a formidable challenge to the utility monopoly." said Walsh.
Thomas Spielmaker, President of USXchange added, "We are very pleased to be joining Yellow Book USA. Like Yellow Book, USXchange is committed to producing a great product and offering businesses a cost-effective alternative to the phone company directories. We now look forward to strengthening our commitment under the Yellow Book banner."
