Yellow Book Acquires Ohio Valley and Steel Valley Directories from User-Friendly Phone Book, LLC

UNIONDALE, NY (July 5,2005) - Yellow Book USA announced today that it has completed the purchase of the Ohio Valley and Steel Valley Champion Pages directories from User-Friendly Phone Book, LLC.

"The Champion Pages have served these communities continuously for over 20 years.  We look forward to building upon the tradition of publishing reliable, high quality directories begun by Champion's founder P.D. Meadows," said Joe Walsh, President and CEO of Yellow Book USA.

The combined circulation of the directories is over 225,000.  This acquisition will extend Yellow Book's footprint in Ohio, where it currently publishes directories throughout the state. This will also give Yellow Book its first presence in West Virginia.

"Yellow Book's national brand, product expertise and resources will benefit area residents and businesses alike.  By publishing directories that are rich in content, Yellow Book will continue to deliver information and choices to consumers and an affordable advertising option to business owners," said Walsh.

Established in 1930, Yellow Book USA is the oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher in the nation. In recent years, Yellow Book has made a number of strategic acquisitions and entered scores of new markets. Yellow Book now publishes around 600 directories in 43 states, plus the District of Columbia with a distribution of over 82 million.
