Yellow Book Acquires Directories from Yellow Pages of Georgia

Uniondale, NY (August  30, 2005) - Yellow Book USA announced today that it has acquired the Dublin, Statesboro and Westside yellow pages directories from Yellow Pages of Georgia.

Joe Walsh, President and CEO of Yellow Book USA said, "This acquisition strengthens Yellow Book's presence within the state of Georgia further building on the proven success residents and businesses have been praising in neighboring markets."

For nearly 15 years, Yellow Book has been publishing yellow pages directories throughout the state of Georgia. With the addition of the Dublin, Statesboro and Westside directories, Yellow Book will publish fourteen directories throughout the state including, Atlanta Metro, Gwinnett County, North Fulton County and Northwest Georgia.

Established in 1930, Yellow Book USA is the oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher in the nation.  In recent years, Yellow Book has made a number of strategic acquisitions and entered scores of new markets.  With the recent acquisition of TransWestern Publishing, Yellow Book now publishes approximately 900 directories in 46 states and the District of Columbia with a distribution of over 100 million.
