UNIONDALE, NY (October 24, 2005) - Yellow Book USA, the nation's oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher, announced today that it will publish a new directory covering the Denver Metro area.
Yellow Book already publishes four successful regional directories in the area - North Suburban Denver, South Suburban Denver, East Suburban Denver, and Denver & West Suburbs. The new Denver Metro Yellow Book will complement these existing directories by offering residents one city-wide resource.
Joe Walsh, President and CEO of Yellow Book USA, explains, "The introduction of the Denver Metro directory is an example of Yellow Book's commitment to providing information and choices to our users. Consumers will now have the option of using their regional directory for local needs and the new Metro directory to access buying information for other parts of the city."
The Denver Metro Yellow Book will include complete yellow pages listings - A to Z in one book. It will also feature business white pages, maps, money-saving coupons, restaurant menus and community information in an easy-to-use format.
Consumers will not be the only ones to benefit from the new directory. Denver businesses will now have a high quality, lower cost advertising alternative to Dex. In fact, advertising rates in the Denver Metro Yellow Book are approximately half of the rates to advertise in the 2005 Dex Metro Denver directory.
Walsh adds, "We publish directories that are rich in content for consumers and make advertising affordable for local businesses. It's a pretty simple formula that has always worked for Yellow Book."
Established in 1930, Yellow Book USA is the oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher in the nation. In recent years, Yellow Book has made a number of strategic acquisitions and entered scores of new markets. With the recent acquisition of TransWestern Publishing, Yellow Book now publishes approximately 900 directories in 46 states and the District of Columbia with a distribution of over 100 million.
