Yellow Book Acquires West Virginia Directories

UNIONDALE, NY (November 2, 2005) - Yellow Book USA, the nation's oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher, announced today that it has completed the purchase of six directories from West Virginia Directory Company.

The acquired directories have a combined circulation of over 440,000. This acquisition significantly expands Yellow Book's presence in West Virginia. Yellow Book first entered the state earlier this year with the acquisition of the Ohio Valley and Steel Valley Champion Pages directories from User-Friendly Phone Book, LLC.

"We look forward to building upon an already successful yellow pages product," said Joe Walsh, President and CEO of Yellow Book.  "West Virginia Directory Company's talented group of employees will now have Yellow Book's national brand and resources to help them produce an even stronger product," said Walsh.

Tony Chavers, President of West Virginia Directory Company added, "We are pleased to be joining the Yellow Book family. We have worked hard to publish high quality directories and to create value for our advertisers and users. We know that Yellow Book will continue to build on our success."

Established in 1930, Yellow Book USA is the oldest and largest independent yellow pages publisher in the nation. In recent years, Yellow Book has made a number of strategic acquisitions and entered scores of new markets. With its recent acquisition of TransWestern Publishing, Yellow Book now publishes approximately 900 directories in 46 states and the District of Columbia with a distribution of over 100 million.
